I love the LORD because He hears and answers my prayers. Because He bends down and listens, I will pray as long as I have breath! Psalms 116:1-2 (NLT)

What a faithful God we serve and none more so than when He is answering our prayers and providing our needs. We have had opportunity to witness this first hand with a prayer need that was literally threatening to overwhelm the land here at English Acres!

During the last 2 years, as we have been concentrating on doing what God has called us to in establishing the work in the USA, the 140 acres of former strawberry fields have transformed into fields filled with 8ft weeds. This has been an ongoing item of prayer for the team - seeking God to provide the finances necessary to purchase a tractor to clear the land and maintain it.

Today we are rejoicing because God has met the need - not in the way we anticipated - but in a way that surpasses our expectations. Instead of God providing us with a tractor, He has blessed us by providing faithful people who, as a gift to the ministry, come and do the work for us.

Until last week this provision has enabled our walking paths and areas around the buildings to be mowed but we are now in a position where the whole land is being cleared (see above photos). It is so exciting to see this happening and to know that God not only hears our prayers but answers them in the best way possible. We are filled with expectation of what God will do here next!

New beginnings at the end
of the Modular Schools

In October the Modular Schools that were being held in Minnesota and Florida came to an end. The final event was the Healing Workshop where the students had the opportunity to minister to each other and put the teaching they had learned over the last 10 months into practice. Many testified to the work the Lord had done in their lives.

As the schools came to an end it was clear that many of the students were sensing God leading them into something new. Many have been equipped and filled with a passion to see God's healing love ministered into the lives of those in need. We pray that each student would know God's leading and guiding as they seek Him for the next stage of their lives.

The next Modular A School will begin in Florida in August 2008 with 'Foundations for the Healing Ministry'. More information about the Modular School can be found online.

Learning how to minister to others

If you are aware of the needs of those around you but don't feel able to minister effectively, then our Ministry Team Training School will be perfect for you. It will look at some key steps in the healing process and will involve practical workshops and discussion times. It will equip you to minister more effectively to your family and friends as well as to others within your church.

Registrations received before November 12th will receive a $30 early-bird discount. The school will be held in Brandon, Florida from 3-8 December. You can register and find full details online.

The Battle Belongs to the Lord

At the end of February 2008 we are holding a special conference with Peter Horrobin called 'The Battle Belongs to the Lord'. It will provide life-changing keys to many issues that Christians face in their lives and will look at the following subjects:

Dealing with Stress, Anxiety & Burnout
