Church Visits

A Church Visit is an opportunity to bring an Ellel Ministries team into a local church or regional setting in order to share vital teaching about healing and discipleship.

The reality for many in the Church is that they are still carrying burdens from past hurts and experiences which are hindering their walk with Jesus. God’s heart is to bring healing and restoration into these areas so that we can become the people He intended us to be and do the things He has called us to do.

A key part of the vision for Ellel Ministries is to be a resource to the local church and to help pastors and leaders bring the vital message of healing and discipleship to the Body of Christ. This can be acheived through the training of ministry teams on our Ministry Team Training School, through our Truth and Freedom DVD series for small groups or by holding Church Visits for the general membership.

From the beginning of the work of Ellel Ministries in 1986, many churches, regions and individuals have been blessed, encouraged and strengthened by these visits.

The Format

A Church Visit usually consists of a one-day conference but could also include an evening meeting with the church leadership prior to the event. It may also include involvement in the Sunday church services. The teaching content for the conference is flexible according to the needs of each church although the following programs are available:

• Jesus Christ Heals Today!

This conference will proclaim the wonderful truth that Jesus Christ does heal and that He heals today! It is an excellent starter event designed to encourage faith for healing and to bring clear understanding about the healing ministry of Jesus.

• Healing Emotional Pain

As a way of coping with hurt and pain, we may bury incidents and their attached emotions deep down, causing problems when they begin to surface later in life. This teaching explores how to allow this pain to surface and to be expressed in a safe and Godly way, and how to receive healing.

• Freedom from Fear

With the rise of violent crime, terrorism and financial insecurity, fear has taken a firm hold on many people’s lives. This conference explores how Jesus can set us free from fear and will look at the ways fears can take root in our lives and how this affects our ability to trust our heavenly Father.

• Overcoming Failure

Failure can often have a lasting impact on our lives and make us feel worthless and of no use to God. The enemy can use this to make us feel we will never succeed in anything. This conference shares the truth that God is able to restore us from failure and brings hope and healing to those in need.

• Right Relationships

Although God has created us to relate with others, our relationships are often flawed and can become a source of pain and misery. This conference seeks to bring understanding as to what goes wrong and practical help to bring restoration so that we can enjoy right relationships with God and others.

Each of these conferences would also include opportunity for those attending to respond to the teaching and receive ministry led from the platform.

The Cost

The cost of a Church Visit is simply to provide for the traveling expenses, food and accommodation for the team and to take up a love offering for the ministry. It can also be possible for us to work with a group of local churches to put on a specific conference in your area where individuals pay a set amount to attend.
